The Easy Wood Tools Mini Easy Hollower™ #3 is a carbide woodturning tool designed for final interior shaping and deeper hollowing of small hollow forms, vessels, and compact bowls.
As the third stage in the Mini hollowing system, it is used to refine the internal surface, improve wall consistency, and complete the hollowing process after initial shaping.
Fitted with a replaceable carbide cutter and a rigid hollowing shaft, the Mini Easy Hollower™ #3 offers precise control when working deeper inside smaller forms.
Its compact size with added stability over Micro tools gives a confident, balanced feel, while the tool’s profile sits securely on the rest.
With no sharpening required, it keeps the focus on refining the form rather than maintaining the tool.
The Mini Easy Hollower™ #3 is designed for controlled deep‑reach refinement, allowing you to smooth and finish the interior walls of small hollow forms.
Its shaft design helps reduce vibration and maintain stability as you work further from the tool rest, and when used parallel to the floor at centre height, it delivers clean, predictable cuts. This makes it ideal for completing the hollowing process after the bulk removal of #1 and shaping of #2.
Easy Wood Tools’ long‑lasting carbide cutters hold an edge many times longer than HSS and are suitable for dry or green wood, as well as acrylics. With no sharpening needed, maintenance is simple — when the edge dulls, just loosen the fixing screw and rotate or replace the cutter.
The shaft is engraved with the corresponding carbide cutter reference number for easy identification.
All Easy Wood Tools are 100% made in the USA.
