The Pro Easy Hollower™ #1 features a solid carbide cutting tip and a 12.7mm × 19mm rectangular shaft that provides superior stiffness and tool‑rest stability during heavy waste removal.
The extra‑long 508mm American Maple handle delivers exceptional control and reduces fatigue when rough hollowing large pieces.
Like all Easy Wood Tools, it requires no sharpening—when a cutting edge dulls, simply rotate the cutter to a fresh one.
Hollower #1 is engineered for efficient, controlled bulk removal inside hollow forms.
The rectangular shaft improves reach and rigidity, minimising tool chatter while working deep in the vessel. When held parallel to the floor at centre height, the tool stays flat on the rest and helps reduce catches, even when cutting into unseen interior walls.
This tool begins shaping the internal cavity before refinement with Hollower #2 and final shaping with Hollower #3.
