The Easy Wood Tools Pro Easy Hollower™ #2 is the mid‑stage shaping tool in the Pro 1‑2‑3 hollowing system, designed to refine the internal shape of large hollow forms after the bulk waste has been removed with Hollower #1.
As part of the largest, most robust range in the Easy Wood lineup, the Pro Easy Hollower™ #2 delivers the reach, leverage, and rigidity required to shape deep interior walls on big, demanding workpieces with accuracy and confidence.
Featuring a solid carbide cutter and a 12.7mm × 19mm rectangular shaft, the Pro Easy Hollower™ #2 offers outstanding stability on the tool rest and significantly reduces chatter during deeper shaping cuts.
Its extra‑long 508mm American Maple handle provides exceptional leverage and balance, helping turners maintain smooth, controlled cutting action even when working inside partially enclosed or deep forms.
Like all Easy Wood Tools, there is no sharpening required—simply rotate the cutter to a fresh edge.
Engineered for controlled internal shaping, the Pro Easy Hollower™ #2 follows the developing contour of the vessel, smoothing transitions and refining the interior profile left by Hollower #1.
The rigid rectangular shaft gives improved reach and stiffness, keeping cuts predictable at extended distances from the tool rest.
When used parallel to the floor at centre height, the tool stays flat and stable, helping to minimise catches and snatches in areas where visibility is limited.
It prepares the internal surface for the deep‑reach, fine‑refinement work of Hollower #3.
All Pro Easy Hollowers feature replaceable, long‑lasting carbide cutters that outperform HSS many times over.
They are suitable for turning dry or green wood, acrylics, and resin, and are 100% made in the USA.
