Featuring an advanced tip design with seven cutting edges and three peaks, they deliver precise self‑centring and allow accurate drilling even on round pipe surfaces, often with one‑handed control.
Manufactured from M35 HSSE steel with 5% cobalt, these bits offer excellent heat resistance, faster cutting and significantly extended service life—up to ten times longer in mild steel compared to standard split‑point drill bits. The protruding centre tip acts as a pilot drill to prevent wandering and produce cleaner holes with fewer burrs.
Impact rated with a 1/4in quick‑change shank, the bits are suitable for use with impact drivers and comply with DIN 338 and DIN3126‑E6.3 standards for accuracy and consistency. Ideal for drilling, wood and manmade boards, alloy and carbon steels, cast iron, stainless steel, hardened steels, titanium alloys, high‑temperature alloys, plastic and carbon fibre composites.
