These premium wood screws feature a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive for reliable performance. Designed with six underhead lobes, they deliver superior countersinking, minimize surface dust, and include reinforced countersunk necks for enhanced holding power.
The screws incorporate an anti-friction thread that reduces timber splitting, prevents ‘jacking’ and spinning of joined timber, and improves drawing strength. Serrated threading ensures better pull-out resistance and lowers torque during insertion. A double-cutting point speeds up drilling, reduces wood dust clogging, and can pierce steel up to 0.8mm thick.
Each screw is finished with an Elementech 400 coating, offering exceptional corrosion resistance-lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. This environmentally friendly finish is Cr6+ free and has been Salt Spray tested for 400 hours. Sizes 45mm or over have a anti friction thread to help when joining 2 pieces of timber together.
