The Mirka® DEXOS 1217 M AFC M-Class dust extractor with a 4m hose is a state-of-the-art dust extractor designed to be part of Mirka’s next generation of power tools. Its compact and ergonomic design makes it user-friendly and efficient for operators. The Mirka DEXOS 1217 M is available as an M-Class dust extractor and can be fitted with a HEPA filter for a complete dust-free sanding process. Simply connect a powerful Mirka sander to the dust extractor with the supplied hose and begin sanding with Mirka’s effective abrasives, including the groundbreaking Mirka Abranet net abrasive.
The Mirka DEXOS features Automatic Filter Cleaning and a push-to-clean function that can be triggered. An airflow sensor indicates when the flow rate is below optimal. Additionally, a wearable remote-control bracelet can toggle functions and relay information about hot motor/PCB alarms and shut down causes to the operator. The brushless motor offers several advantages over traditional brushed motors, including a longer lifespan, reduced maintenance, and more efficient energy use. The higher power-to-weight ratio means smaller and lighter motors for the same power output, making them highly suitable for electronic devices and sensitive equipment.
Equipped with a powerful and long-life brushless electric motor, the Mirka® DEXOS 1217 M AFC is both quiet and impressive. The power level can be easily selected from the backlit control panel, which also allows for hose diameter adjustment, auto-start functionality on two sockets, and Bluetooth pairing. The dust extractor is easily maneuverable and includes space for storing the 4m hose and cables during transport. It is compatible with Mirka Case, Toolbox, and existing Mirka hoses. The dust extractor includes two power outlets for tools and is suitable for both wet and dry use. The dust bag in the 17-litre container can be changed or removed without the need to unclip storage boxes fastened on top of the dust extractor.
