Osmo Wood Protector is a blend of natural vegetable oils and waxes. Produced entirely without biocides it is completely safe for use on kitchen worktops. It is a unique preservative wood wax primer and is extremely water-repellent. It protects indoor (and also outdoor) wood when there is a danger of blue stain and mildew i.e. pine and spruce floors and panelling in rooms and areas with high humidity. Osmo Wood Protector is quite thin and penetrates deeply into the wood; a little goes a long way. It may darken the timber slightly, but the effect is to enhance the grain. Apply using a brush or rag, wipe off any excess. Drying time is 24 hours. Use Osmo Wood Protector as a base for Osmo Top Oil or Polyx Oil.
