At the core of the machine is SawStop’s patented safety system. In the event of accidental contact with skin, the blade stops and retracts below the table in under five milliseconds, reducing the risk of serious injury to a minor cut. The control box houses the on/off switch, large safety paddle, onboard computer and an additional residual current breaker, continuously monitoring the system to ensure reliable operation.
At its heart is a powerful 3HP motor, delivering smooth, controlled power and ample torque, to rip cleanly through hardwoods, softwoods and sheet materials with ease. The heavy-duty trunnion and precision-ground arbor provide exceptional strength and stability, while the gas-assisted piston elevation ensures smooth, effortless height adjustment. Table flatness is measured diagonally to a maximum gap of just 0.010″, contributing to vibration-free running and dependable, repeatable cuts. Dust collection is equally impressive. Above the table, the included overarm dust collection system and micro-guard capture up to 99% of airborne dust at source, while below the table, advanced blade shrouding directs waste efficiently into the 100 mm (4″) extraction port. The overarm dust collection system is included as standard and delivers excellent results thanks to the smooth metal piping.
The Professional Cabinet Saw is supplied with a compact outfeed table as standard, providing additional support and control when working with larger pieces of timber. For even greater capacity, an optional folding outfeed table is available, offering extended support while folding neatly away to save valuable workshop space.
