Setting angles is quick and easy using the intuitive geared dial system. The mitre angle dial has pre-set increments of 1°, 1/2°, 1/4°, or 1/10° with tactile feedback so you can feel your desired angle click into place, making angle adjustments reliably accurate – quick and easy.
You can also bypass the gear system for free turning. The extruded aluminium telescoping fence provides a solid reference surface for workpieces, with a maximum crosscut of 953mm using the included flip stop. Common mitre angles of 0°, 22-1/2°, 30°, and 45° are noted and easy to set quickly. The sliding wedge system allows for fence attachments and repeatable stops. The reversible, telescoping fence works with the mitre gauge in either the left or right mitre slots with equal accuracy and ease of use. A washer at the front end of the mitre bar fits into 9.52mm (3/8”) x 19.05mm (3/4”) T-shaped mitre slots to keep the mitre gauge level when the head is pulled off the table for wide crosscuts. This washer can also be removed for use in non-T-shaped mitre slots. The mitre bar has three adjustable pucks to eliminate side-to-side wiggle in the mitre slot.
