For the best result and the sharpest edge, a strop should only be charged with one type of polishing paste. For those wishing to use more than one paste or compound, we offer this additional Napped Leather platten to fit the Rider Pro Strop Kit.

The platen simply clips into the Pro Strop Kit’s holder. Rare-earth magnets at each end, hold the platten in place. When stropping there is no need to apply heavy pressure, a light touch works best. From time to time, reverse the platen in the holder to even wear. Get an exceptional edge on plane blades and chisels.
