Floor-Tite screws from Tite-Fix have been specially designed for use with wooden floorboards or chipboard flooring. They have a unique, patented Tri-lock™ and TS Thread form which joins together the benefits of a single and twin thread in one screw. The thread features a twin start sharp tip for a fast start, followed by a coarse pitch which pulls the board down tight and ensures no board will ever squeak underfoot. Once the boards are down they stay down. That is unless you wish to remove them, unlike nails Floor-Tite screws are easy to remove. Floor-Tite screws have a blue, passivated zinc finish for protection against corrosion. These screws do not require a pilot hole and are self countersinking making the job a whole lot quicker and easier. Floor-Tite screws have a Pozidriv Pz2 recess.
