These popular kits would make a great gift for the wine connoisseur or devotee. Turn your own unique design from polyester or selected timber blanks. These weighty stoppers are available in chrome or gold finish with silicone rubber O rings to seal the bottle.
Thread - 8mm
Thread Length - 16mm
Pilot Hole - 7.5mm to 8mm depending on the density of the blank material.
Note: You will have to judge the diameter of the pilot hole. The spigot has a very coarse thread to help ensure a secure fixing. However, if your blank material is hard, a small pilot hole risks cracking. In all cases we recommend using CA or epoxy glue for extra security.
To make turning the bottle stopper a little easier, we recommend using the Axminster bottle stopper arbor (code 212316 for 1MT or 212317 for 2MT).
