The combination of a Festool circular saw and the Festool Guide Rail makes a superb system for cutting sheet materials. The Festool TS 55-FEBQ takes a 1.8mm kerf blade; with such a narrow kerf it can cut at up to twice the speed of previous models. This fast and efficient plunge saw used with Festool's guide rails is unbeatable for ease and accuracy. The narrow kerf means it removes much less material. The angle adjustment from -1° to 47° allows a slight undercut for perfect butt joints. The cut line remains the same no matter what the cutting angle.
With two 1,400mm guide rails and rail connectors, ripping down the length of an 8x4 sheet presents no problems. The guide rails have a splinter guard for a clean finish. On the underside a cushion strip adds grip, two clamps come with the kit offering extra security.
Supplied with 2 x 1,400mm guide rails with anti-splinter guard, 2 x rail connectors, 2 x screw clamps and rail bag. The saw has a 42T thin kerf blade and anti-splinter device and is supplied in a Systainer SYS3 M 337 carry case.
