In the final episode in the series of Out of the Woodwork Podcast, Sean Evelegh talks to renowned Designer and Craftsman Sebastian Cox.

Sebastian’s passion for sustainable design is channelled through his London based design studio and workshop, which he runs with wife Brogan.

More about Sebastian Cox

Sustainability is very much at the forefront of Sebastian’s process with his furniture and homeware designed and made with, what he describes as, a ‘nature-first perspective’.

One of the ways Sebastian advocates sustainable design, is through the use of coppicing and woodland management. This is something he practises at his own woodland in Kent. The rotational supply of timber and use of native species, not only creates a sustainable timber source, but helps to promote woodland biodiversity and Co2.
