Fitted with an advanced brushless motor, the DHS680 offers high performance and improved technology. The saw features Makita’s Automatic Speed Control. Heavy cuts require lower speeds with higher torque, lighter cuts need higher speeds. The saw does this automatically changing the cutting speed according to the load. The DHS680 is compact and the weight reduced by using strong magnesium alloy castings for the base, blade case and safety cover. The 165mm, 24 tooth blade tilts up to 50°, with a maximum depth of cut of 57mm at 90°. Twin LED job lights and a blower ensure you have a clear view of the cutting line. The saw has an electric brake, soft start and an ergonomic comfort grip. A handy built-in hook allows you hang the saw on a ladder rung, for example, when not in use.
The warranty period of your Makita tool may be extended to an additional 2 years subject to the following conditions:
Makita Tools that are CE marked and (with the exceptions of Batteries, Battery Chargers, Accessories, Petrol Products, Production Tools and Air Tools and Compressors) purchased on or after 1st July 2012.
The tool is registered by the end user within 30 days of purchase.
