The official wording regarding M-class dust extractors reads: < 0.1% dust with maximum allowable concentrations (MAC) ≥ 0.1 mg/m³. In simple terms, 99.9% of the bad stuff stays in the extractor. This makes M-class extractors suitable for extracting not just softwood dust, but harmful dusts from hardwood, manmade boards such as MDF as well as concrete brick and dust.

Dust extractors class M are suitable for vacuuming/extracting dry, non-combustible dusts, non-combustible liquids, wood dusts and hazardous dusts with STELs >0.1mg/m³.
