The Trend T14EK is a router that comes without compromises.

This high-performance plunge router is designed to be used hand held or fixed in a router table.

The 2,300W motor delivers consistently high power, torque and speed, and features soft-start to prevent kick-back. The 80mm plunge depth opens up many opportunities for deep cutting applications. The seven-stage variable speed control from 9,000 to 22,000rpm, allows you to match the cutter diameter to the material for perfect results. The extra-wide 75mm base aperture can accommodate larger cutters, such as panel raisers, when used with a router table. This high-performance plunge router is designed to be used hand held or fixed in a router table. It is supplied with a Router Table Safety Switch, which does away with the need for a separate NVR switch when fixed in a table. A 2-in-1 plunge and router table height adjuster can be used from above or below the router, in both table and hand-held mode. Each 360° turn gives 1.0mm adjustment. The T14EK base configuration includes a standardised fixing pattern of holes that allow the T14Ek to be attached to a range of compatible tables, jigs and accessories.

When used hand held, phosphor-bronze bushes ensure a smooth plunge action. The auto-lock plunge lever allows you to easily and safely operate the plunge without releasing the handles. The ergonomic designed handles support a natural wrist position, reduce strain, and increase control.

For your essential safety the automatic power shut-off prevents the router from accidental start-up if the trigger lock-on switch is engaged, and the power supply is lost and restored or interrupted.

Twin LEDs illuminate the area around the cutter improving safety and accuracy in low-light situations, or the use of a jig is casting shadows.

A precision centring system uses a unique guide bush centring pin and adaptor plate to ensure perfect concentricity between cutter and guide bush for pinpoint accuracy with routing jigs.

The top-mount cyclone extraction features an enhanced dust adapter, which efficiently clears the waste. Its positioning ensures greater visibility and helps prevent extraction hoses from ‘snagging’.
