The UJK OTORO Compact Palm Router Table is a unique and ingenious piece of equipment. It is perfect for model makers, dolls house builders and any craftsperson wishing to make smaller sized, precision components.
It is designed to be used with a palm router, either the Bosch GKF 600, Makita RT0700, RT0702 or DeWALT D26204 and DCW604 router (not suitable for Makita DRT50 cordless trimmer). The Bosch and DeWALT fit directly, the Makita uses an adaptor sleeve as supplied. Install the router, connect the dust extractor port and you are ready for business. You can clamp the table to a bench top or work table up to 60mm thick, allowing you to use it wherever is convenient. The table has both coarse and fine feed adjustments for exact height modification of the cutter.
Three modes of operation are possible with this router table: preparing an edge, planing the board to width and moulding.
Edge preparation: the Rear Planing Fence consists of 2 sections, a fixed outfeed and an adjustable infeed. The adjustment uses a ‘folding wedge’ arrangement, where one slides against the other controlling the depth of cut. Very fine control and accuracy come from the 10:1 scale. Moving and locking the leading wedge 1mm produces a cutting depth of only 0.1mm. A featherboard is included to keep the timber securely against the fence.
Width planing: the Rear Planing Fence is replaced by the Rear Featherboard Fence. The Front Fence, complete with a similar folding wedge adjustment, is used to set the planing width of the board. Although looking somewhat unconventional, this method will produce very precise thicknesses. The maximum board width that will fit between the featherboards is 130mm. By using double-sided tape and sticking a workpiece onto a carrier, you can prepare very thin material.
Moulding: the Compact Router Table performs in much the same way as a conventional router table. In this case, the result is a small and exact profile. The table comes with a 12mm and 24mm insert (the 24mm is stored under the table) and with the insert removed a 40mm aperture is available to accommodate different sized cutters. When not in use the table can be stored under a bench or in a small cupboard.
Please note, the fine height adjustment system cannot be used with a DeWalt body. See page 8 of the instruction manual below.

Great to have in your arsenal.Nice little toy to have if you do not have the room for a router table. Excellent where consistency is required. Whilst I love to use my Stanley No.50, this certainly gets the job done in a fraction of the time.
Unfortunately, I did have to fettle with it before using it, as the router bit was touching the guide bush (it was not centered). There are no instructions for this, so had to have a good look at it the router housing to see how is was adjusted.
The quick adjustment is sublime to use, making multiple passes a breeze.

Exilent mini portable routing table.Used for the past month. Really convenient to be able to keep in the cupboard and just attach to workbench when needed. Bosh router fits perfectly and securely. Fences are decent quality but you do need to check for square. I do find the micro adjust rattles lose but as the hight lock is very secure it's a very minor point.

Very useful and versatile little tool!Clever design and well made, does all it says it should. The fine adjustment fences are very clever using the simple process of sliding bevels. Would benefit from another straight thin primary fence to allow routing further from the work piece back edge but this is something I will make myself. The rise and fall lever works properly so long as you support the weight of the router with your free hand otherwise there is too high a load on the lever.
I thought the clamping system for fixing the assembly to my bench might be under engineered but it works very well.

Very useful and convenientIt doesn't replace a router table but this is perfect for smaller projects with small piece of wood. Setting everything up is easy and fast.

Easy to assemble, works wellI have not used it much yet but, from what I can see, it works very well to plane and thickness small pieces of wood. It's probably also effective for chamfer.
Vacuum is no problem. The width adjustment is effective. Having tried it, I regret that the Otoro adjustable fence, which is built on the same principle, is not available. I would order it immediately.
Anyway you have to consider whether the size of the router and the table is suitable for your needs but it's a very clever design.

Brilliant designBought this to fit my Bosch 600 router. It's a great but of kit, a nd you realise the justification f or the price tag when you see that ever part is bespoke or though through. All the handles for adjustment are spring loaded so can always be used, even if something is blocking their way... My only gripe is the fiddly set up, but once you've got the fence straight, you're good to go!

Is this table router compatible with the cordless router Makita DRT50Z? With the exception of the battery, it seems to me that the Makita DRT50 is identical to the Makita RT0700CX2. Thanks for your support.

Hello, I want to rout shallow slots in the centre of a 3x2 piece of wood. How far does the fence on this table go back? Would it allow for this type of application?
