A saw bench is the foundation of a woodworking workshop and generally regarded as the most important machine.

This professional quality saw has a finely ground, heavy cast iron table on an all welded steel base. A rigid rip fence with cam action locking clamps and an extruded hi/lo alloy fence rail gives a max capacity of 620mm to the blade. The fence glides smoothly making adjustment practically effortless.

For cross cutting boards or panels, the cast iron sliding table runs on an adjustable bearing system. A mitre fence and a sliding support arm come as standard. This sliding table folds down out of the way when not required, saving space.

Power comes from a mechanically braked 2.2kW induction motor. Adjustments for rise and fall and blade tilt are via large, steel hand wheels with a locking facility.

It’s the small details that make the difference. The table infill plate has levelling screws. The blade arbor features a captive locking pin to make blade changing easier. The riving knife has a cam lever, simplifying fitting and adjustment. Dust extraction is via a rear mounted 100mm port with a connection hose to the crown guard. The conveniently mounted switch box has a locking emergency stop button and an emergency footswitch adds an extra safety precaution.

This saw is perfect for the small general woodworking workshop, school technicians or maintenance departments requiring a capable, robust dimension saw.
