Predominantly used for trimming of joints, you’ll want this plane on hand when fine tuning for the final fit of the joint.
Blade
The blade is O1 steel, offering good edge retention and comes with a 25° bevel. The blade will need honing before use.
Body
Fine grey cast iron body, ground, finished and polished for accuracy. Arched lever cap makes plane comfortable and easy to use. Flat sole, sides are square to the sole.
Shim
Shim between the body and shoulder piece is adjustable for fine or coarse work.
Easy change
Changing from Bullnose to Chisel is easy, simply remove the nosepiece.

The 2-in-1 Plane combines the functions of a Bullnose plane with those of a chisel plane. Changing from one to the other is simply a matter of removing the nosepiece. Cast from fine grey iron, the 2-in-1 is machined, precision ground and polished to ensure accurate results. The sole is flat and the sides are square to the sole. The full width blade is micro adjustable for precise control of the depth of cut. The blade is O1 steel, offering good edge retention. It comes with a 25° bevel and will only require honing before use. The blade is a fraction of a smidgen wider than the body making it easier to work into a corner. The polished brass, arched lever cap makes the plane comfortable and easy to use. A shim between the body and shoulder piece allows you to vary the width of the mouth for fine or coarse work. This plane’s original intention was for trimming of joints when it came to fine-tuning for the final fit of the joint. A function it ideally fulfils today.
