The Makita 18V jigsaw is the first in their range with a barrel handle and also has a brushless motor for high efficiency. It is part of their Li-ion family of power tools. Having all the advantages of Li-ion battery technology along with tool-less blade change, variable speed trigger, blower function and twin LED job light. The base is made from rigid aluminium and will bevel to 45°, either to the right or left. As well as straight cutting, the blade can also be set in three positions for orbital cutting and there is also an improved dust extraction facility.
The machine is supplied as jigsaw body only without batteries, case or charger.
Please note: model number starting with letter 'D' has a 'star' imprint on the connector plate enabling full communication with a Makita battery also with a 'star'.
