When grinding and sharpening, it is desirable to have nice sturdy, easy to adjust tool rests to support the tool being ground. It conveniently pivots down out of the way when not required, allowing you to use the jig for your gouges and other turning tools. Designed to fit on the left hand side of your grinder, you will wonder how you managed without it. Not supplied with the optional mounting base as pictured.
