This 10mm aluminium insert plate measures 229 x 306mm and is designed to fit the UJK cast iron, phenolic or MDF router table tops. This option is unusual in that it features a circular universal base attached to the underside of the plate with four machine screws. This base is pre-drilled to accommodate many different types of router and has a central hole of 64mm. This diameter of hole may limit the size of cutter you are able to use, but for the majority of cutters this should not present a problem. The benefit is that you are able to mount your router more easily without drilling the insert plate. It is supplied with a removable central insert ring with a 38mm diameter hole with a range of other hole sizes available. This includes one that will accept a standard threaded guide bush for template routing. A threaded lead-in pin is also supplied and provision has been for this to be located in a choice of positions.
