When it comes to jig making these UJK Parf Anchor Dogs open a whole world of possibilities.
CNC machined from 303 stainless steel, these dogs precisely match the holes made by the UJK 20mm cutter. They fit with exacting precision into the 20mm holes of the UJK Multifunction Workbench. They are compatible with the Festool MFT/3 tabletop and other grid tables with 20mm holes. The hole must be chamfered first which allows the chamfer profile of the dog to sit flush in the bench's top surface. Overall height 18mm with a central through threaded M8 hole.
Once installed into your workbench you have an M8 threaded hole in your work top for all number of applications. You can now easily make hold down clamps, plane stops and a host of jig making possibilities. The only limit to their uses is your imagination.

Part of a set of essentialsSince buying the UJK Parf guide system Mk2, I’ve bought a number of dogs to use with my new MTF style table. These fit very well, with hold downs, both bought and home made. They certainly add to the versatility of my tabletop.
Of course, I recommend them as “add ons” to the Parf Guide system and MTF style tables, but I’m also open to ideas from other users as to how to extend the versatility of this system.

Almost PerfectI bought several of these to mount to the bottom of an Incra fence. These allow me to quickly attach/remove the fence from an MFT style table. These are “almost perfect” in that I only wish they were 19.98mm rather than 19.00mm. The 19.98mm close fit dogs fit more snug and yet are still easy to remove so I hope they consider to make these just a bit larger in the future.

Perfect Solution to My ProblemI was looking for a way to fasten a parallelogram track saw rail guide to my MFT slab table. When I saw these the light bulb went off and they worked better than expected. They allow me to bolt on my device from the bottom of the table. Since the anchor dog sits flush with the table top I can leave them in place all the time.

It's a tight fit. For perfect hole size get the reamer: https://www.axminstertools.com/eu/ujk-parf-system-reamer-for-20mm-holes-107586

Are there any thoughts on making a longer version? 27-30mm to be able to hold 2 pieces of 18 mm tight together.
Asked by: Vegaman76
The product you are referring to are titled anchor dogs. They are used to give certain jigs the capability to be fixed in 20mm bench holes. The idea is to have them flat with the desk top positioned in chamfered holes.
Until now I never had a different need for this type of dog.

What is going to keep them from spinning in the dog hole when you thread something into them. My holes are made by the Parf Guide system.
Asked by: Wayne cw
The tolerance in manufacture of the dogs is tight, friction depending on accuracy of the receiving hole works well for threading jigs etc. I always lock the dog from underneath with an appropriate knob and large penny washer which always works a treat.

I've seen dogs which are 19.90mm (0.10mm or 0.0039" tolerance) and others which are 19.98mm (0.02mm or 0.00078" tolerance). To help understand the precision one can achieve with these ... what diameter are these?
Asked by: bugsysiegals
This depends who is quoting the numbers, both dogs you quote are in fact to the same precision, i.e. the second decimal place is quoted in both cases, even though one of the digits is 0. If you mean the deviation from 20mm ? In any case the achieved precision will be dependent on your set up, whether you screw down the dogs, how hard you push the saw, if you push along the track with no sideways component etc etc. The holes you insert the dogs in probably play a bigger role in the cut precision. It's worth watching the Peter Parfitt You tube videos where he does a 4 cut test on his set up. As a retired professional physicist I wouldn't concentrate my attention on the dogs but on technique and the bench holes.

Is the M8 screw thread compatible to 5/16? Thanks
Asked by: Jeronimogc
No but you could probably run a tap down , it's easier to run a m8 split die down the 5/16 thread like I have done on the kreg thread. It works a treat I take the small bolt out replace it with just threaded piece
