The Zipbolt Angled Slipfix kit fixes a handrail to two newel posts on the angle of your stairs and the top joint connector uses a bent shaft (previous versions had a pivot shaft). One Zipbolt fixes at the top of the stairs and the other at the bottom. This concealed fixing eliminates the necessity to use cover caps to hide it. The joint accommodates any handrail angle with the bent shaft holding tightly when fixed. The Slipfix kit saves time and money, and greatly simplifies this job.
The Zipbolt Angled Slipfix kit comprises two adjustable bolts; one for the top joint (bent shaft) that finds every possible angle on a flight of stairs, and one for the bottom; screws for attaching fixing plate at the top of stairs; a top fixing plate and gear housings for top and bottom. A hexagon key and hexagon bit to fit into a drill/driver and instructions complete the kit.
