The Makita 9404 has a wide 100mm belt and can be used to sand down surfaces such as table tops. Mainly used working with the grain, it is also very good at working across the grain to flatten before working with the grain to leave a clean, even finish. It is fitted with a high torque 1,010W motor and variable speed control 210-440m/min. Graphite and rubber pads cushion the underside of the belt. The housing allows flush sanding on one side. Supplied with dust bag and abrasive belt.
