The Perform PD10PT 260mm Planer Thicknesser is designed to deliver consistent results for the home workshop and is for beginner use. If you're looking to create straight edges or require flat, square timber boards for activities such as routing, pyrography and more, a planer thicknesser converts rough boards into user-friendly materials. Use on natural wood, hard and soft woods or MDF, Plywood etc.

It features smooth aluminum planer tables and cast iron thicknesser tables, ensuring smooth operation and resistance to rust, making it a reliable addition to your workspace. The steel infeed rollers grip the timber firmly for a long service life and reduces maintenance required. The HSS double edge planer knives offer excellent durability and when they dull, you can simply rotate them for a fresh edge. An easily adjustable fence, with stops at 90° and 45°, lets you achieve chamfered and angled cuts with ease. Powered by a single 2.2kW induction motor, the PD10PT runs quietly and smoothly, perfect for any woodworking project.

The Perform PD10PT offers 13,000 cuts per minute, thanks to its HSS disposable cutter type. It has a 63mm cutterblock diameter that spins at 6,500rpm, along with a 100mm dust extraction outlet for safety and cleanliness. Feed speed is set at 5 meters per minute, and the machine uses two knives to produce a smooth finish.

Switching between planer and thicknesser functions is quick and efficient when working on different tasks. Table adjustments are straightforward, allowing for efficient setup and precise results.

The planing table is 1,040mm long, supporting a maximum depth of cut of 3mm for both planing and thicknessing. It can handle a maximum planing and thicknessing width of 260mm and a maximum thicknessing height of 160mm. The machine requires a minimum extraction airflow of 1000m³/hr to maintain performance.

It is fully guarded with integral safety switches to prevent cutting without the guards being in place. It also features anti-kickback fingers that help prevent the timber from kicking back when it first contacts the rollers. A wheel kit is included for easy maneuverability around the workshop and quick storage when not in use.
