    The Perform PD8D Bench Drill makes a perfect first drill for DIY and home workshop tasks.

    Offering precision for a range of light-duty drilling tasks, it features a 1.5-13mm keyed chuck with a self-ejecting chuck key for secure bit holding and easy bit changes. The 50mm chuck travel enables deeper drilling for tasks that require it. Its strong cast iron construction of the base, table and head delivers stability and durability.

    Powered by a 200W induction motor, the drill offers smooth operation across 5 easily adjustable speeds ranging from 550-2,500 rpm which makes it ideal for drilling into various materials. The belt cover has a safety switch to ensure safe speed changing. The easy to use depth stop allows for consistent, repeatable drilling depths.

    The 166 x 160mm table tilts 0-45 in both directions, accommodating angled holes with ease. Table height is adjusted by sliding the table assembly up or down the column. For taller work the table can be swivelled away to allow the base to be used as a work support. A front mounted NVR switch and the adjustable chuck guard add to the convenience of use. The belt cover has a safety switch to ensure safe speed changing.

    This drill is excellent for beginners and a useful machine to have in your home workshop space.
