We asked renowned Canadian woodworker, Vic Tesolin, what he thought of the UJK range and the tools he relies on every day in his workshop.
A bit about Vic...
Vic Tesolin is a Canadian woodworker and teacher, alongside his partner Andrea, with a passion for woodworking and education. Vic runs successful social channels inspiring many woodworkers, not just across Canada, but worldwide. His honest, relatable approach to teaching and product reviews are one of many reasons his followers are continuing to grow in numbers. We spoke to Vic about UJK and asked him for his independent opinion.
Having tested many of our UJK products, we asked Vic what his favourite tools from the range would be, and why. Here's what Vic said:
I don’t use a table saw in my shop. Instead, I use a track saw and router setup to do the work of the table saw. The Parf line of tools from UJK simplify my workflow and all but guarantee accurate work. I also use the UJK Parf tools for my hand tool operations. The positioning and work holding features these modern systems offer suit my work better than 300 year old options.
I really like anything that is MFT related that UJK does. The workbench frames are amazing and allow you to make a sturdier work surface compared to the original MFT undercarriage. I’ve yet to find fault with any of the UJK products I have in the shop. They are well-designed and allow me to work the way I like to work.
