If space is available then having a dedicated surface planer saves a great deal of time. The ROJEK RFS 410 planer is made to exacting standards and capable of producing accurate results time and again. The long precision ground cast iron tables and a long solid cast iron fence (no aluminium extrusion here) guarantee perfect results every time. The cast iron fence features a special tilting mechanism for bevel planing at exact angles. The fence is supported on rollers to make accurate adjustments smooth and easy. Accurate depth of cut adjustment using a large cranked lever under the infeed table gives perfect results, removing as much or as little timber as is required.

This ready to buy package includes a spiral cutter block, which offers numerous advantages; notably quieter in use, the sheer cutting action of the spiral block also produces a super smooth finish with no visible lines across the board. The spiral block features 56 15mm solid tungsten cutters in a helical pattern. Lasting ten times longer than HSS, when the edge of the square tungsten cutter dulls, it can be rotated to a fresh and sharp edge, removing the need for complicated knife changes. By producing smaller chips, strain on the machine is reduced and extraction is more efficient.
