WoodEpox Epoxy Wood Filler repairs or replaces damaged wood and fills areas missing due to rot. WoodEpox is 100% epoxy solids and contains no VOCs or noxious odours and is GREENGUARD certified.
It is a two-part epoxy putty; simply knead equal quantities of each part together and you are ready to go. Once mixed it has a pot life of 20 minutes. WoodEpox has a no-slump consistency; you can apply it in any thickness. It is extremely hard once fully cured and does not shrink or crack. It permanently bonds to most surfaces, and is chemical, water, heat and weather resistant.
Use WoodEpox for interior and exterior repairs for example to replace missing wood on window frames and sills, doors, furniture, and decorative mouldings. It hardens within 2 hours, at which point you can saw, drill, carve, rout, plane or sand it. It is an off-white colour and takes paint and primer well. It is possible to stain WoodEpox; however, stain does not penetrate below the surface. You can use inert earth pigments to colour WoodEpox at the initial mixing.
This product is ideal for re-building and repairing sections of wood destroyed by rot. Abatron recommend first stabilising and consolidating the surrounding area with Abatron LiquidWood. A kit containing both items is available.
The 350ml kit includes 175ml of each WoodEpox A and B and the 1 litre kit includes 500ml of each.
