The Axminster Workshop 102 Apron plane is a vast improvement on the original Stanley first produced over 140 years ago. The depth of the cut is micro-adjustable using the knurled brass knob, allowing you to fine tune for removing that final whisker. The 30mm wide blade is O1 steel, for good edge retention.
