Clifton spokeshaves are made from virtually unbreakable spheroidal graphite iron. The surfaces are finished and polished to give maximum comfort in the hand. The 500 has a convex blade with a curvature of 63mm(2.1/2") radius. The firm blade seating and fine adjustment offer the control necessary to make delicate cuts. The concave blade allows you to make recesses and refine hollow work, such as windsor chair seats etc.
