For over 20 years, Axminster Tools have provided courses in our purpose-built Skill Centres. Many of our students have gone on to develop their own crafts and return to us, again and again, to refresh or build on their skills. However, with the COVID pandemic we had to change the way we delivered courses to our students and customers.
Our Axminster Skill Centres may now be closed, but that doesn’t mean the learning and making has to stop. We’re bringing the Skill Centre experience to you with woodworking projects and top tips from our expert tutors, as well as a range of online woodworking courses.

I have acquired a selection of old Robert Srby turning tools. They have joined my newer ones which are HSS. How can I tell if the old ones are HSS. I want to change my sharpening wheels to CBN so it is important to know.
