This is the business end of the Woodcut Tools Pro-Forme hollowing system. The Power Head fits into any one of the Pro-Forme hollowing shafts. It consists of two parts; a hook cutter and a brass shavings limiter. The hook cutter design is far less prone to clogging, which can be a problem with ring type cutters. The cutter is hardened M2 high speed steel, triple tempered and machine ground ready to use. It is easily re-sharpened for a long working life.
The shavings limiter is adjustable allowing you to set the cutting depth and prevent 'dig-ins'.
The diameter of the cutter spigot is 8mm.
