Use the cutter to produce a T-slot in a workbench or an assembly table. Once cut the T-slot enables you to use the Axminster Professional guide rail clamp as a hold down. The clamp has a specially designed head that fits into the slot of power tool guide rails such as the Festool FS, Makita and Aldi Workzone rails (not suitable for Bosch). Alternatively cut a T-slot in a length of hardwood as a custom made or temporary guide rail. In addition, you can cut a T-Slot in nylon if making jigs to your own design.
The clamp has a plastic pad on the swivel shoe to protect the work surface.
