The AW254TS Workshop saw bench brings the cutting capacity of the trade workshop into the home workshop.

The saw features a quiet 1.5kW induction motor, an important consideration in a residential neighbourhood. The generous ground cast iron table comes with the benefit 19mm mitre fence T-slots on the right and the left of the blade. A 254mm Axcaliber 50 tooth blade, offers a maximum 80mm depth of cut. The full length rip fence includes a sliding sub fence with high/low functions.

The tilt and height adjustment mechanism is bolted to the chassis as opposed to the underside of the table. The result is exceptionally smooth operation and without any weight hanging beneath the table causing stress.

Efficient dust extraction from above the blade and below the table is brought to a single 100mm dust port for connection to an extractor.The NVR switch includes a separate locking Emergency Stop function. Removable side panels to allow cleaning and maintenance. The AW254TS is supplied with side and rear extension tables.

The sliding table offers a 1,080mm of travel and has a decent 320 x 420mm support table. A mitre fence with a long arm is included, as is a work hold down clamp. An adjustable stop gives accurate repeat cuts. It is adjustable to be in perfect alignment with the blade and table making your work more accurate and safer to carry out. It glides smoothly even over the table extensions

The stand has a splayed leg design to ensure stability even when cutting large or heavy work pieces. The legs and cross braces are powder coated steel. The stand raises your saw to a comfortable working height and rubber feet prevent the saw from moving when in use.
