Reduce the amount of wood glue you use and produce stronger joints at the same time. An even coating of adhesive over the entire surface makes for the best result. This simple kit offers you plenty of options to get the most from your glue.
The kit comprises small and large glue brushes with silicone ‘bristles’, a silicone glue tray and a silicone glue spreader.
The small glue brush is 14mm wide, the large 26mm; each has a plastic handle with a 16mm flat tip. The flat tips are useful for spreading glue in slots, mortices and in between dovetails and for scraping excess squeeze-out from corners. The glue tray is 140 x 77 x 25mm. The spreader has a 85mm notched edge and a 58mm flat edge.
Silicone is a flexible material. You can wash unused glue off with warm water. Alternatively dried glue can simply be peeled off, which many people find quite therapeutic.
