The Easy Wood Tools Mid‑Size Easy Hollower™ #3 is a carbide woodturning tool designed for final interior shaping and deep‑reach hollowing inside hollow forms and medium to large bowls.
As the third tool in the Hollowing 1‑2‑3 system, Hollower #3 reaches deep, unseen cavities, allowing you to refine the final internal surface once Hollower #1 and #2 have established the interior shape.

Featuring a solid carbide cutting tip and a 12.7mm square section shaft, the Mid‑Size Easy Hollower™ #3 sits flat and stable on your tool rest, delivering excellent control with no sharpening required.
The longer 355mm American Maple handle offers added leverage for deep interior cuts, while the tool’s cutter orientation and reach provide safe, predictable cutting inside areas where visibility is limited.

Hollower #3 is engineered for deep hollowing and final refinement, allowing you to smooth and finish the interior walls of hollow forms with precision.
Used parallel to the floor at centre height, the square shaft keeps the tool steady on the rest, helping to minimise catches and snatches, especially when working deep inside closed forms.
It provides the reach and finesse needed for the last stage of hollowing, before sanding or final surface work.

With no sharpening required, simply loosen the fixing screw and rotate the cutter to a fresh edge when it eventually dulls.
