Available in two lengths 235mm (flute length 165mm) and 460mm (flute length 390mm), these auger bits from FISCH are perfect for drilling longer lengths quickly and in thicker workpieces for cabling and pipework access. The threaded centre point pulls the auger bit through the wood bringing the counter cutting edge into play. Augers have hex shanks except for the 6mm which has a round shank. 7-9mm Augers have 6.35mm hex shank, 10mm has 8.4mm hex shank and 12mm and above 11mm hex shank.
