The Makita DHR 171 SDS Plus rotary hammer drill is a powerful, compact tool, ideal for work in tight spots. Its size (only 273mm front to back), weight and balance make it a great choice when working overhead.
It features the latest Makita brushless motor for a long and maintenance free working life. These motors are highly efficient and result in battery runtimes up to 50% longer compared to an equivalent brushed motor.
The DHR 171 has two operating modes: rotation with hammer for rapid drilling into concrete and masonry or rotation only for metal or wood. Whatever the material, this unit gives fast and efficient results without the inconvenience of a trailing mains cable.
Additional features include a vibration-absorbing handle, variable speed trigger with forward and reverse and a built-in L.E.D spotlight.
This is a body only tool and is compatible with Makita 18V LXT batteries. Supplied with auxiliary handle and depth stop.
