Bounceless, Antireflex or Dead Blow can be used to describe these mallets. In reality the hollow heads are partially filled, (traditionally it was lead shot). When the mallet makes contact with an object being struck, the filling counteracts and prevents recoil. You get a good ‘solid thud’. The Narex 8751 mallets come with replaceable black polypropylene striking faces and moulded handles. The non-marking striking faces make these mallets ideal for assembly, sheet metal work, locksmiths and a host of other trades. Quality tools made in Europe.
