Used to secure a newel post to the floor either into concrete or timber, the 278 x 12mm bar has impressive strength. It features a flattened section for a wrench or spanner to wind it into the floor. In a concrete floor we recommend a chemical anchor. The mechanism requires a 35mmø x 30mm housing and a 6mm hex bit for tensioning.
