A4 (also known as Marine Grade) stainless steel contains a small amount of molybdenum, which creates a particular type of steel having a much higher resistance to surface corrosion when compared with standard A2 stainless steel. The screws have a Torx head almost ensuring the elimination of 'cam out', where the screwdriver is liable to slip under pressure, damaging both the screw head and the bit. Screw threads are also wax lubricated for almost effortless driving into most timbers. These screws are suitable for all outdoor projects such as garden furniture, timber framing, sheds as well as boat building and renovation. As A4 marine grade stainless steel screws they are needle sharp and have a self-cutting tip that requires no pilot hole or pre-drilling.

An extra addition to the set is the Pan Head screw in 4 x 35mm. These screws are also suitable for outdoor projects. The pan head makes them perfect for attaching guttering and down pipes etc.
