Hampshire Sheen Professional Lacquer will produce a great looking and hard wearing finish with just a couple of coats. These aerosols are available in gloss or satin and each option in clear or black.

Two good coats of the lacquer should be enough to provide a suitably solid finish on most wooden surfaces. A further couple of coats can be applied to produce a deeper finish. The lacquer is dry and handleable in 10 to 20 minutes under normal conditions. Drying time may vary depending on ambient temperature and humidity.

For the best possible finish, always ensure that the surface you are applying it to is perfectly smooth, free from dust, scratches and properly sealed.Sand your work down smooth to at least 400 grit and ensure the surface is free from dust, grease and moisture. Prepare the surface well with a suitable sealer and ensure it has fully dried.

Overcoat the gloss or satin with Microcrystalline Wax for a smooth feeling and fingerprint resistant top coat. For a glass-like finish, apply at least four coats of gloss lacquer and then polish with pastes and creams.
