Ideal for: Furniture, cabinet making, biscuit joints.

Titebond Extend
Type: Slower setting version of Titebond Original interior wood glue, has a longer opening time to apply and assemble.
Ideal for: Complex tasks such as curved railings, edge and face gluing. It has a higher heat resistance than Original, making it more suitable for interior applications that are exposed to higher heat; kitchens, fire surround and radiator covers.

Type: Cyanoacrylates (CA) traditionally called superglue, nearly instant setting time.

It would be helpful to edit out the Americanisms in this explanation. What are "mineral spirits" and who are the FDA, and why do we care? What is "molding"?
The point of liquid hide glue in instrument building is to provide reversibility, e.g. so that, if necessary, a neck can be removed from the body in the future. It has nothing to do a longer open time - which it doesn't really have in any case.
I agree with Pete Olson about musical instruments, the question I would ask is 'How brittle are the glues after setting'. Some instruments attach leather to card or wood and want any residual glue to crack upon first bending leaving a very flexible, but air-tight, join. Any ideals? Is your hide glue brittle if flexed?
