Constructed from high-quality materials, the Bed & Banjo Extension is durable and reliable, ensuring stability and reducing vibrations. Installation is straightforward, allowing you to integrate it into your lathe setup quickly. The high-torque motor controller ensures that wood-turners can handle workpieces up to 406 mm (16) without stalling or spindle bogging. The spindle adapter features 1 x 8 TPI threads, accommodating both right-handed and left-handed threaded chucks.

The Expansion Set includes a 254mm (10) bed extension, a cast-iron swing banjo extension for the tool rest, a spindle adapter and all necessary hardware. This extension can be attached at the end of the bed to increase the centre-to-centre capacity by 250mm, resulting in a total turning length of 660mm. Or to the left of the headstock for outboard turning, allowing a maximum diameter of 409mm.
