When making a butt joint in kitchen laminate worktop Festool recommend using the SV-V widener clip. In effect, it spreads the load in the material ensuring the joint is as strong as one made in solid timber. The SV-V D14 widener clips around the SV-QA D14 cross anchor and prevents the cross anchor being drawn into soft materials. Other parts can be purchased separately.
The DOMINO connector revolution makes fast, accurate and powerful connections with the option of quick and easy disassembly and reassembly. The connector system for the DOMINO XL DF 700 joining machine is suitable for material thicknesses of 30mm or more.
Using the DOMINO XL DF 700 to produce the joint is an extremely quick process using only the machine’s stops or simple pencil markings. It requires no other accessories or templates. The finished joint is extremely stable. Cover caps are available in three colours for a high quality corner connection appearance. Supplied in boxes of 32.
