Where to put the bits and pieces you’re not using? Woodturning chucks and fitments are carefully engineered pieces of equipment so storing them safely is good practice. These two racks and the chuck hub provide you with a place to put things with everything in its place. The centre rack and jaw rack are both 320mm long. The centre rack takes up to six 2MT drive or tailstock centres. The jaw rack has four slots to take a spare set of chuck jaws mounted on accessory jaws. The chuck hub has the same male thread as your lathe (see choice list 'Thread Size') with a countersunk through hole. You can mount it on the wall next to your jaw rack or use it as a secure means to mount the chuck to a bench for carrying out static detail work off the lathe.
