The SDS plus-5X hammer drill bits have a unique tip, made of highly durable tungsten carbide and ground to quickly transport waste to the drill flutes. The unique 'turn-angle' head design in combination with the active centring design of the tip increases the drilling rate with a more aggressive bite in hard materials. The tip features an optimised four cutter geometry which has been designed to not break in rebar. Their distinctive four flute spiral dramatically improves waste removal, helping to improve drilling efficiency. Faster dust transportation into the flute prevents clogging at the base of the hole. The bits feature a wear mark to indicate that the diameter of the hole is still in tolerance for metal anchor setting. These bits fit all SDS+ hammer drilling machines.
